Welcome to the Counseling webpage, I’m Mrs. Delhaye.

I’ve been the counselor-advisory for our middle and high school students for 19 years. I consider myself fortunate to be able to put my background in psychology and counseling to good use.  Every student has unique challenges and dreams and I appreciate how our school is small enough for staff members to know our students well, and yet offer support for each student’s preferred course, whether career or college.

As I serve students in grade 6 – 12, I am essentially the annual check-in point person to make sure every student-

  • is meeting the requirements for graduation
  • has support for working through classroom and life obstacles, and
  • is emotionally and socially ready for the next level.

Of course, while this keeps my calendar full, I don’t do this alone.  The staff here at our school is extremely committed to the success of every student, too.  I also work closely wth AP History teacher Mrs. Elizabeth TerHaar, who coordinates our school’s Gifted and Talented program.  Together, we strive to make sure every student (and their parents) receive support in pursuing their post-graduation dreams.

If I can be helpful to you in some way, please let me know.  I welcome your calls and emails.
